As you may know, the NHS Alexandra Hospital in Redditch is VITAL in providing care for communities in Redditch and the surrounding area.

But, it is now under threat.

A "Joint Services Review" has proposed to move vital clinical services from the Alex. This is to pay for a growing £50 million deficit at the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.

If our NHS services are removed, people will have to rely on poor transport links to visit the nearest hospital in Worcester. Potentially putting lives at risk.

This is a petition from residents of the Redditch County constituency.

We believe that the "Joint Services Review" of NHS Services in Worcestershire, should NOT allow vital services currently provided at the Alexandra Hospital to be removed.

The Petitioners therefore request that the House of Commons urges the Department of Health to retain the NHS services at the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch.
