We Need Cheaper Energy .com

Fuel poverty is hitting ordinary people. Many are forced to choose between heating their home, or putting food on the table. Businesses are struggling, as people have less in their pockets to spend on the high street.

That is why I set up WeNeedCheaperEnergy.com. We mustn't simply bet the farm on a green energy policy that keeps pushing energy bills ever higher. For example, by building ever more inappropriate onshore wind farms, which blight people's homes and are subsidised by all of us through higher bills. We do need to reduce our carbon emissions. But not at any cost.

Instead, we need a BALANCED approach to energy that keeps our bills affordable. Fuel poverty is bad enough already. We shouldn't make it worse.
